October 21, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to welcome Nashville Knights FC as a new member.

Based in Nashville, TN, Nashville Knights FC began UPSL play with the 2020 Fall Season as part of the Expedition Division. The club is hosting its UPSL home games at Siegel Soccer Complex (515 Cherry Ln, Murfreesboro, TN 37129).

The club was founded by Delo Ebrahimzadeh, Araz Khiziryan and Gara Tahir Abdullah. Ebrahimzadeh serves as Director, Khiziryan as Head coach and Abdullah as Business Relations Director. Ramo Adbullah is Recruiter and Assistant Director, Mwesi Kalugendo is Trainer and Assistant Coach, and Jomo Cromwell is the club's Technical Coach. 

"Nashville Knights FC is honored and excited to be a meber of the UPSL Expedition Division. As a club, one of our most important missions is to guide young talent so that they can develop to their highest potential as soccer players. We believe high-level competition is necessary and instrumental for us accomplishing our mission, and high-level competition is exactly what the UPSL offers," Ebrahimzadeh said. "We are very happy to be a member of the UPSL and we look forward to what the future may bring." 

Expedition DIvision Manager Doug Kranz said, "Nashville Knights FC has come in and immediate impact on the Expedition Division. They have worked very hard to get their feet on the ground and be competitive from the start. The Knights have been a great addition for this Fall Season and will raise the bar in the division as we move into the future."

Nashville Knights FC (0-1-2 overall) opened its UPSL 2020 Fall Season with a 2-2 draw in the Expedition Division season opener on Sunday, October 4.
